Built in the 1800’s, UNESCO World Heritage listed Notre Dame de Fourvière Basilica welcomes over 2.5 million visitors per year, including VIPs from around the world.
To ensure VIP security with sound entry and exit plans, security service providers required a shareable, full 3D visualization model of the Basilica.
But with traditional means of data capture being time consuming, resource intensive and costly, security planning had historically relied on multiple outdated, separate 2D maps.
