Rugged shaft scanning protection for Hovermap

The Hovermap Protective Cage provides a complete scanning solution for those more challenging environments when walking, driving, or flying are just not an option.

The stainless steel frame provides hard wearing protection that is specially designed to slide smoothly, avoid snags and deliver great scans.

Get the scan done quickly

A quick-release polycarbonate clamshell cover provides additional protection from falling debris and moisture to the rear of the unit.

Hovermap is mounted in the cage using a vibration-isolated, carbon fiber plate that incorporates a mounting plate suitable for V-Mount batteries* up to 50mm thick.

A shackle and carabiner are also included to get you scanning quickly.

Fully compatible with 360° Colorization for Hovermap.

Vertical Infrastructure

Quickly capture the inside of an orepass, raise, or vent, even if they’re too narrow to fly, by mounting Hovermap in the cage.

Vertical Shafts

Mounted in the cage, Hovermap can capture detailed data for vertical shafts for mines, tunnels, or other underground works.

Enclosed Spaces

Don’t send personnel into enclosed spaces. Instead lower Hovermap mounted in the cage to capture detailed point cloud data.
