Hovermap is being used to supercharge the Matrice 300 RTK (M300) next generation industrial drone from market leading manufacturer DJI.

ARLINGTON, Va. — Emesent has been named as a finalist in the XCELLENCE in Innovation category of the XCELLENCE Awards by the Association for Unmanned Vehicles Systems International (AUVSI).

The 3D point clouds from Hovermap can now be augmented with true colour, providing additional context for visualisation and analysis.

Emesent technology partner, Velodyne Lidar, Inc., uses a Hovermap unit to promote the quality of the point cloud data that can be produced by their Puck LITE™ lidar sensor.

At the beginning of 2020, Emesent Technical Evangelist, Dr Jeremy Sofonia, was invited by the US Navy to demonstrate Hovermap’s variety of use cases, including generating accurate digital twins of navy vessels.
