Now employing over 120 staff, Emesent has a large engineering team – over 50 people. This team is furthering the ten years of research in robotics and autonomous systems started by the founders at the CSIRO. The staff are spread far and wide, with teams based in Europe and in the United States to work more closely with Emesent’s existing and growing list of partners and customers in these regions. Partners, like the resellers’ network that has grown to over 40 resellers around the world.
Emesent is part of a new research Hub bringing together academic researchers and industry partners to transform the way Australia manages infrastructure assets, like bridges, towers, and subsea pipelines. Known as the ARC Research Hub in Intelligent Robotic Systems for Real-Time Asset Management, the collaboration is about to get started with a series of workshops.
Emesent is honored to be awarded the HSBC Award for Excellence in International Business in the Brisbane Lord Mayor Business Awards for 2021. The company is also privileged to receive a special mention for the ANZ Award for High-Growth Business.
We are pleased to announce the inaugural Hovermap User Conference to be hosted in South Africa by Emesent partner Dwyka Mining Services.
Hovermap, Emesent’s flagship product, is an autonomy and mapping payload capable of capturing high resolution LiDAR data above ground or underground, indoors or out. Hovermap’s proven autonomy functions allow it to fly supported drones, like the DJI M210, DJI M300, or Acecore Zoe, beyond line of sight and communication range.
